Welcome! I'm Stacey Eley, Founder & Educator of Gift of Grace. I am so glad you are here.
I am a wife, mom of two young adult sons, lifelong educator, and follower of Jesus Christ. Gift of Grace grew from a desire to create the kind of learning environment I deeply value for children—one that is small, peaceful, joyful, academically meaningful, and rooted in faith and relationships.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood specialization from Western Michigan University, as well as a diploma from an internationally recognized Montessori teacher training program. I have more than 25 years of teaching experience in public elementary and private school settings. Throughout those years, I have come to believe that children flourish when they are truly known. At Gift of Grace, I have the privilege of knowing each child's strengths, interests, personality, and areas of growth, while creating a learning environment that honors both who they are and who they are becoming.
I believe education should be beautiful, engaging, challenging, flexible, and joyful. Children need strong academics, but they also need time to wonder, create, move, explore, build relationships, develop independence, and experience the joy of learning.
Most importantly, I want Gift of Grace to be a place where children experience the love of Christ and grow in faith, knowledge, character, confidence, and grace.
