At Gift of Grace Montessori, we nurture children in the ways of the Lord while partnering closely with parents. Our microschool provides a nurturing environment and fosters a supportive community for families. We take a holistic approach—caring for mind, body, and heart—creating space for:
Play
Exploration
Fun
Social interaction
Curiosity
Wonder
Stillness
Rest
Each day is structured to optimize learning while respecting the child’s need for play and family time. Our unique four-day week allows young minds to rest, play, and grow in various ways. We blend the timeless Montessori method with modern teaching styles, prioritizing hands-on activities and experimentation to encourage children’s exploration of their interests.
Our peaceful environment is designed to feel as inviting as home, promoting independence, community, and exploration. Key classroom areas include practical life, language arts, mathematics, and art/cultural sciences, fostering a calm, orderly, and joyful atmosphere for children of different ages to learn together. Maintaining an intentionally small size ensures a close-knit community at Gift of Grace Montessori. We emphasize social and emotional learning alongside academics, with children engaging in communal activities like preparing snacks, eating lunch together, caring for their environment, and exploring outdoors through gardening and nature-based creative activities.
Additionally, local community walks and interactions with elder friends enrich the experience, helping children gain confidence and self-esteem through meaningful Montessori-inspired activities. This reflects Maria Montessori’s belief that children educate us when we observe and listen.
